New Centers Tomorrow

Today we were between sets of centers. It was just as well that we were, as we began the day with an assembly about the PTO's Annual Walk-a-Thon coming up next Friday, October 11. On that day, plan to pick up your kindergarten walker at 2:30. It is also Picture Day, so you might mark your calendar.

After the assembly we came back to the classroom to sing with our bassist, Andy Tester. I really enjoy singing with Andy's bass on hand. We sound much better when he is here.

In lieu of centers, the students made a drawing as part of our school-wide art program. We drew caterpillars. They are already mounted on the bulletin board thanks to Mrs. Zell.

Original drawings inspired by a reading of Eric Carle's book, The Hungry Caterpillar

KIDS club started today. We had to go to plan B on the ukuleles on account of a case of motion sickness caused by the tire swing.

Remember to supply your child with a change of clothes to keep in their cubbies just in case they're needed.

Thank you.
