Ukuleles yesterday & Another Soundabetter

Yesterday we got to visit the school garden again with Mr. Hansen. M's mom helped out—thank you.

While that was going on, I got some ukuleles tuned and into the hands of the kindergartners. They're learning how to hold and strum the ukulele and playing a real "C" Chord. They did great. We played "Oh, Lee Oh, Lee Anna!" which sounds pretty good even with only one chord on the ukulele.

Today we had another student master the Soundabet! That's three so far, some kind of record I am pretty sure. We're going to go far.

We also had our first art lesson out of our art curriculum.

Here's one of the pictures now up in kindergarten, drawn today:

PS If the pictures today look heavily cropped, it's because I await your specific permission via the blue note sent home today for your child to appear in this blog. Till I get yours back, that's the way it has to be.

It's Friday!

Have a good weekend.

Be well.
