|We used 2 dice for "Roll and Read" this morning.|
In math we talked about rulers and how they're used to measure a unit we call "a foot." Rulers are too long to match a five year old foot, as you can see here.
|These rulers are longer than this shoe.|
|The rulers are about the same length as this shoe....|
|Our mat proved to be 14 rulers (feet) long|
|and about eight rulers wide.|
Most five year old children can begin to see the humor in jokes using language. Telling jokes is a good way to amp up verbal intelligence.
We made up some jokes today.

See if your child can tell you the answers.
Or better yet, ask them if they can give you a riddle about November.
