Two days, one post!

My life can sometimes get kind of busy, and daily posts don't always happen.

Here's yesterday's news:
As reported on the easel paper at the front of the room. Read it with your student.

Here's a picture of the Buddy program. We met our new school buddies from the third grade. We will meet with them each week for about 30 minutes on Wednesdays.

Wednesdays are also our day for music with Andrew. In future posts we'll talk more about that. Andrew taught us a new song, his version of this one on YouTube:

And here's today's news:

We went into the garden to pick cherry tomatoes, apples, and harvest carrots. Check out this Great White Shark carrot that Alexis found. The photo doesn't quite do it justice. It looked like Jaws.

And, of course, no day is quite complete until something magical happens. Today it came when Sam decided to go for it (with Mrs. Everson's help) and try riding a two-wheeler. I caught the results of his efforts, ten seconds of them anyway, on video to share with the world. I think I just posted it on the post previous to this one. Anyway, look for Sam's ride.

Way to go, Sam!
