The Soundabet Song

I realized that I can make a video for the blog with the same camera I use to take pictures for the blog.

Here's a little clip showing the singing of the Soundabet song this morning. It's nothing too special, a little unrehearsed clip.

Let me know if you'd like to see more video clips.

Hi Vickie--thanks for chiming in. This is actually just a piece of the Soundabet, but a big one: it's like the ABC song, but a lot more complete and helpful, since it identifies the SOUNDS the letters represent, instead of their names.

Video turns out to be a good way to convey this sort of information.

Yes, I think short video clips really bring home the Soundabet idea in a way that's hard to do with just words and pictures. It's also fun to see the classroom dynamics.

OK, I'll do some more.

I heard about the soundabet at a kindergarten conference. Is there any way for me to get the letter sound posters? Thanks,
